About Bender's Tavern.
Bender's Tavern has served food and drink in downtown Canton's historic district since 1902, and is now run by the fourth generation of the Jacob family. It specializes in seafood shipped from Boston. The building's tiger oak paneling, marble and tin ceilings survived a 1988 fire, and the menu still honors founder Ed Bender's fishing trips with its Camp Kagle Walleye.
